Recomendations for a Kids fitness tracker for swimming

Can anyone recommend a fitness tracker that will fit a skinny 8 year old's wrist please? He wants to use in the pool too.
I don't want to pay too much.

For what purpose?
Encouraging them to do more exercise?
Seeing how much they are doing?

It's to use as a watch, step counter, activity monitor but also needs to be able to swim in it
