Poor design of baby products

I'm 59, my wife 57 we have a 12 week old baby boy in our sole care. He has been with us since 11 days old. We are not Foster carers, we receive no financial contribution for our care. our children are in their late 30's , grand children in their teens.
We are enjoying the situation, but two things cause grief;
Sleepless nights ... bit of a given...
And the incredibly poor design of baby stuff.... incredibly poor.
Pram hoods that creak and click .... waking up baby.
Music boxes and soft lights stat cannot be put on a flat surface with out falling over. Feeding bottles look identical but are wholly incompatible .... and on and on ......
Why oh why do you put up with and purchase so much poorly designed stuff.

I found about 90% of my baby equipment to be well designed and fully functional

Research before purchase is key
