Sounds terrible ivykaty, What a shock. I hope you are ok.

But it's an odd request.
It would be awful surely? No-one is going to come on and say oh I watched DH take his last breath after being hurled through the windscreen of a Morris Minor but it was fine.

Ok if you're having a hard time maybe tell people in Chat and they can be supportive.

Will the relative make a recovery OP or is it hopeless? Was the accident their fault?

ITU is a dark place, you see the world quite differently when you are spending a significant amount of time there. Try to get some fresh air if you can.
