It's a choice between these two machines.

  1. Hotpoint
  1. Bosch

Hotpoint I know are considered inferior to Bosch, but it does much more!

I would go with the Hotpoint simply because it has the bigger wash load.

Upsadaisy · 27/04/2007 19:05

Bad experiences with hotpoints. At risk of sounding old (oh dear) they don't make em like they used to. Had a hotpint for many many years...when it broke finally I upgraded to the aquarius and it was practically rebuilt evrything went wrong it was eventually replaced and guess what the same happend again ended up just getting rid. Would not reccommend hotpoint however that was a few years ago now maybe they've turned over a new leaf though would say go with the bosch

ceolas · 27/04/2007 19:17

the customer reviews on the Bosch say it has an annoying beep at the end of the cycle

Millarkie · 27/04/2007 19:20

We've got a Bosch - it's 6 years old now and going strong. V quiet..and on our model you can turn off the 'irritating beeeeep'.
Would def recommend.

docket · 27/04/2007 19:21

I'd go for the Bosch.

SherlockLGJ · 27/04/2007 19:21

Bosch - but it does have an anoying beep. The instructions reackon you can turn it off but I haven't worked out how yet! Keep meaning to phone customer helpline about it

Doesn't matter too much to me as it is in a utility shed in the garden but it must annoy the neighbours

ceolas · 27/04/2007 20:19

The customer reviews on both give 9/10. It seems MN is more in favour of the Bosch.

I want a timer. Just because I do.
