Putting adult hair styling product on boys hair

Hi all,

Looking for some advice...I have a 4 year old son and I want to style his hair now and again witha product but I'm scared to use Daddy's product in case it's harmful for his scalp? Any advice? :)

My ds has his own gel, it's a Wella one. His hair is totally different to DPs so it was trial and error to find one that worked for him. He is nine now and has it styled every day (to tame it now it has to be made wet, blow dried and then gelled) but at four he occasionally had his hair gelled both at home and at the barbers. My only stipulation is that it is washed out before bed.
