I keep trying different moisturisers but never seem to buy the same one twice. Are clarins, clinique etc REALLY better than the mid range olay etc and the cheapo own brands?? I have combination skin & do tend to have breakouts if i use anything too rich.

Clinique use their facial toner to clean their counter with where I work.

jamieboo · 27/03/2007 01:37

the new johnson and johnson baby naturals one it just smelt so nice and was really .. nice!

Scootergirl · 27/03/2007 08:18

The Olay glowy one is actually called Olay Complete Care multi-radiance daily illuminating UV fluid and really is about £8. It's the one which was "so good, we stoped wearing make-up" in the ad.
No-one quite as gullible as me then?
It is really good though

alfielooloo · 27/03/2007 09:58

Thanks everyone, what to choose now? I quite fancy the glowy one and at only £8 I could always use it for my legs if my face didn't like it

It says on the box it has vitamins, an SPF of 15 and a multi-radiance complex.... Surely you must be tempted?
Go on, then I can be the winner

MrsMcEasterBunny · 27/03/2007 13:04

Recently I've found that what makes the most difference to my dry skin is using an oil under my moisturiser. I am using decleour's rose for sensitive skin and it's doing my skin a lot of good no matter what I put on top of it. HTH

Moomin · 27/03/2007 15:57

I was SURE the glowy one in the advert was DEfinity which costs £24!

Scootergirl · 27/03/2007 16:06

No, it's definitely this one. I rushed out and bought it the very next day

paulaplumpbottom · 27/03/2007 16:09

Dermologica's active moist
Daywear from Estee Lauder are the two I am currently using and I love both

LilRedWG · 27/03/2007 16:11

So, Scooter - is it good? Seriously, what skin type do you have, 'cause I've been tempted too.

Scootergirl · 27/03/2007 17:24

I really like it. I have fairly normal skin with an oily T-zone (god, this takes me back to Jackie days...) but I really love it. It feels nice and looks good too.

alfielooloo · 28/03/2007 10:07

I think I am going to try the glowy one, thanks everyone

Scootergirl · 28/03/2007 12:29

Let me know what you think

Hooray - mine is the winner!!!

Moomin · 28/03/2007 21:06

Look at \www.visit4info.com/Restricted.cfm?id=39618&Redirect=www.visit4info.com/details.cfm?adid=39618\this}. It is definity with that girl and the glowy skin. So which one have you got scootergirl? Must be working wonders whatever it is and it's loads cheaper!

Moomin · 28/03/2007 21:06

Bugger. Try link{http://www.visit4info.com/Restricted.cfm?id=39618&Redirect=www.visit4info.com/details.cfm?adid=39618\this} instead

Moomin · 28/03/2007 21:08

F*ck and DER. One last go: hopefully....

manicmama · 28/03/2007 21:08

A bit late here (and probably too cheapskate) but Time Delay Day Moisturiser by Boots is cheap but effective. I read about it in some beauty bible and apparently as good as some of the more expensive ones.

Scootergirl · 29/03/2007 08:06

It's this one \link{http://www.olay.co.uk/olayproducts/com-c-multi.jsp?6&pagesection=prod}

Scootergirl · 29/03/2007 08:07

Why didn't my blinking link work?

here

LilRedWG · 23/04/2007 10:52

Scooter - thought I'd let you know. Have bought it and love it! Thanks for the recommendation

allieBongo · 23/04/2007 10:53

suzycreamcheese · 23/04/2007 10:57

munz · 23/04/2007 10:58
