SIL has one, I only used it once and didn't like it that much, feels like having a bath in second hand water
yuck yuck yuck

Have used one whilst on holiday and loved it. Then I watched the programme "how clean is your house" and they had to clean a jacuzzi bath (same thing IMO except not in the garden) well it was disgusting. If the owners don't clean out the pumps regularly you could be relaxing in all sorts of muck - in the case on TV, urine, poo & vomit -NICE!!
Will never use one again unless I get my own and develop OCD.

My mom had one, since I was 8yo, or so, until she died 28 yrs later.

Good fun with the kids!

We know someone in the States who has a HT on their porch. I didn't fancy it when I found out that black bears sometimes come and watch!

Not sure that I could see a hot tub combining with small children - not about having them in it, but just how to find time/energy/opportunity to use it. Love the idea, and we used to use our gym's outdoor heated pool a lot on summer evenings, but since kids.... even the jacuzzi bath rarely gets used (meant to be a no-no during pg and never got back into the hang of it - though it is clean!)
