Hi all!

I've recently bought a new car and want to take it to get cleaned but Ive heard you can't take a soft top roof through a car wash so I was wondering if anyone knows how to clean it/how to ask the car wash workers how to clean it?

Jet wash/hand wash it yourself?

Don't trust me though, I've never had a soft top!

use the jet wash or a bucket and sponge/hose. Do not go through the automatic carwash.

A Car Valet is your best bet if you don't want to wash it yourself.

No you can't go through a car wash. I have a hard top convertible and I took it through a car wash and it leaked loads. I would imagine that the car wash brushes will ruin a soft top.

We had our valeted and I'm sure he used some "special" cleaner to wash the top.

I'd be more concerned about the damage to your paint.
