No - size of it folded doesn't bother me, fits in the boot OK, if I need to go food shopping I just put the seat part on the back seat to free up a bit of space in the boot.

yes in beetle - no in transporter or chrysler i left mine up

only for when dh is in the car with me. his equipment takes up too much room so have a stroller which can also carry his spare equipment. if he didnt have all the extras to take out i would use it all the time for the car as well.

i found the bugaboo ok when folded, if we had our own car would have kept it but you want ot bus it or use a taxi it can be a bit awkward, but only because it splits into two parts, is pretty light weight compared to other pushchairs

Ceolas · 06/03/2007 20:11

And is it really worth the money?

Mine just lives in the boot of my car. Can also fit a weekly shop if arranged around it.

Yes - worth every penny IMO.

2208SEW · 06/03/2007 20:41

Also agree - worth the money - not everyone will think so and not everyone will like it either. We used the carrycot as a first bed for dd instead of a moses basket so saved money on that.

tinkerbellie · 06/03/2007 21:07

i thought it was worth the money, esp if you have it from birth as you could use the carry cot instead of the moses basket

loved the rear facing and the pushablity

and it is really light weight and easy to fold etc etc etc

loved it just too big really for the bus (well unmanageable more than big) if i had a car would def still have it now

although i have had about thirty pushchairs so....
