SoupDragon · 17/06/2004 12:51

Disappointed it's not one of the less "sturdy" ones you posted links too

Nice. Better than pink IMO but I don't wear pink at all.

NomDePlume · 17/06/2004 12:53

I always feel a bit 'spilly' in balconette things. Like my boobs are going to spill over the top at any moment ! Really like the look of the triangle halterneck type one, although bikinis are totally out with my stretchmarked tum

codswallop · 17/06/2004 12:54

the jalter neck was not supportive nough
sent it back

I havent got that big boobs but have to agree nondoplume. The balconette makes my boobs into a a drinks tray

NomDePlume · 17/06/2004 12:54

Miffed that the tankini top starts at a 34 and not a 32, like the others.

NomDePlume · 17/06/2004 12:57

Me too fio2 ! I also find that in any balconette bras, my nips are making a bid for freedom ('over the top lads!' ) within about an hours worth of wear !

SoupDragon · 17/06/2004 12:57

I kind of agree with the spilly out nature of a balconette but unless you're planning on playing beach volley ball in it, you're not going to be doing anything much to cause them to fall out. Speaking as a lowly B cup interloper.

codswallop · 17/06/2004 12:58

cup size too small then

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 17/06/2004 12:58

With an E cup in a balconette, no one will be looking at your tummy

NomDePlume · 17/06/2004 12:59

That's another thing that bugs me... I went into M&S last weekend on the hunt for a white seamfree underwired bra. I'm a 32E but there was NOTHING in my size (except minimizing ones- yuck). Ended up getting a 34DD, which is an ok fit but isn't all that great around the body, even on the tightest clasp.

NomDePlume · 17/06/2004 13:00

F'in 'ell Coddy are you telling me I should be in a 32F ?????

codswallop · 17/06/2004 13:01

M&S do a few in 32E but they tend to be either very unflattering 'Doreen' type affairs, minimizing or you have to pay through the nose. Pisses me off. That's why I really like LaSenza, big range, sexy styles, comfortable, well priced and you can shop online.
