To buy now or wait until January? When will good deals be out?

I am planning on changing cars. Will be buying a used car from a dealership and I wondered if there is a "best" time to buy in terms of deals/negotiation on price. Does anybody have any insight?

I'd have thought there would be bargains around at the moment, if you're buying used, because of all the people that just traded in for the reg change?

I used to work in the automotive industry, now is def the right time to be looking with so many pre registered vehicles in the dealer network with great deposit contributions and savings on older used cars too
