Technical help needed, Faulty hardware........I know one of you will know.....

DP has stored lots of stuff for work on one of those portable 20gb USB drive things. Now it won't work and the company won't reply.
It sort of shorted and DP can't retrieve anything which is causing untold hassle at work as the main computer has been taken away by IBM for fixing too!!
Neither of us has a clue, we're in South Wales, can anyone recommend a person or company that may be able to help.
Please do help cos I said MN will know the answer!!

I'm in S Wales (Newport), and when I had a problem with my PC, I used these people . The bloke who came was really good, and didn't charge us full price for the hours he was here.
