All I want are some PJs for DD (21 months)
that are not too pink and girly, ideally with spots or stripes, but plain would be just fine. I really don't like 'funny' or 'cute' slogans either - yes, I'm very picky! Unisex ones would be just fine, but they don't seem to exist... Also I resent being charged close to £20 for something she'll wreck pretty soon. I know e-bay is the answer but I've never dabbled in it - are there ANY alternatives out there?

Kbear · 21/01/2007 20:06

Adams?

The White Company have beautiful cotton pj's for girls and they're on sale at the moment. They wash and wear fantastically well. I've had the same two pairs for 3yrs and they are as good as the day we took delivery of them. Passed down from ds1 to ds2.

cupcakes · 21/01/2007 20:08

I like Boden and Gap. They are expensive but they last longer than cheapy ones. I always buy in a big size for them to grow into to get the most wear possible.

And this is why saddos like me get excited about the Boden sale.

Hulababy · 21/01/2007 20:09

I got a 3 pair pack in Next, all interchangable with each other - green and pink, flowers and stipes as main designs. Was £19.99 for 3 pairs.

George normally do PJs at good prices.

for £3 each

cupcakes · 21/01/2007 20:10

I like this hearts set at M&S

cupcakes · 21/01/2007 20:12

oops - not in baby sizes though.

what about these ones?

yoyo · 21/01/2007 20:13

Matalan do check ones for a fiver. They last incredibly well - much better than M&S. Next are pretty good quality too but more expensive than Matalan.

alp · 21/01/2007 20:14

I'll second primark £3 brushed cotton - you can tumble dry them too without them shrinking! OMG - here I am singing the praises of tumble-drying PJs..........do i have something interesting to say??

hana · 21/01/2007 20:14

primark onnes fab but smakllest size 2/3 are v v big
dd2 just 2 and they are v v big on her

zephyrcat · 21/01/2007 20:23

Pumpkin Patch for me. Gorgeous pj's, brill quality and around £7-£10

bloobell · 25/01/2007 10:32

check out www.baobab.com.au for everything anti logo - also lovely spotty pj bottoms with a cotton t-shirt top. a llittle bit different from the standard stuff... they come in pink and green so good for boys too.
also lovely cotton tops and bottoms that could pass for (plain) pj's. they're australian but ship all over...

wanderingstar · 25/01/2007 13:45

Boden
Matalan
Petit Bateau (sale on now)
Have just bought some lovely brushed flannel traditional checked pjs for dd, ds2 and ds3. Sadly ds1 is too big for them. They were in the sale.

I've tried and tested lots of brands; the above are A1 quality.

wanderingstar · 25/01/2007 13:46

Should say The White Company is where the checked ones are from !
