what to paint a dolls house with???

I think acrylic would be good, if it's an mdf one.

I used water - based satin gloss paint testers. Worked like a dream.

I just used matt testers - think it was the crown period range for outside and inside I used Laura Ashley test pots (they were on sale btw) as the colours just matched the style of the house really well - duck egg and muted pinks etc.
Anyway, the matt finish outside looks good - quite authentic.

I just used left over eggshell emulsion to paint our toys r us house, looks ok, haven't done the inside yet though...I had thought about using bits of wrapping paper and 'wallpapering' it rather than painting it
