argos solofix

just bought this for DD, it is reduced to £29.99....seems nice and comfy, very securely fastened in and there is nice padding round the head and shoulder straps

got it in red and black as pink sold out ....seems good value and nicely made...

seatbelt goes through the back of it in some sort of arrangement that irritated DH to bits last night

although he chose to wait until it was dark to fit it !!

Safetywise they are definitely not all the same - one Graco model was found to be positively unsafe in the Which? report of 2005.You can sometimes find a Maxi Cosi Rodi for under £50 in a discontinued fabric - here ,or 59.99 here or Halfords had some in store. Another one Which? recommended was the Britax Hi Liner here or Tesco had them in store or Boots have them online for £54.99 .
