Storage for Elc Happyland village??

Just sitting here considering where all the Happyland will live when (if?) we tidy it off the floor. Has anyone found the perfect solution? Do you keep all the shops etc separate or bung them all together? Wish Santa had sorted storage first!

Our large Happyland collection lives in two big canvas bags (buildings & track in one, people, animals etc in the other) and then we dump it in the log box - which no longer contains logs but is now a toy box.

I put collections of toys into boxes that I bought from pound stretcher, they were cheap and look fine.

So I WAS being ridiculous even considering keeping them in their original sets - thanks! Any other ideas for perfect storage?
