I NEED fake treasure!

DS2 has requested fake treasure for Christmas. Easy peasy I thought, imagining plastic coins and large plastic gems. I've seen all that sort of stuff before....

aaagh! Can't find it anywhere I've got a beaded christmas garland which I'll de-bead as it has what looks like gems on it but it's not what I really had in mind.

I think DS had in mind something like the "Plastic XTL BEAD 20mm CUBE" from Whizzz's link. I can't quiz him too closely as, obviously Santa knows what he means . I've seen these blimmin plastic gems but no idea where they came from!

I've just had a look and we've got quite a few gems (from an old Baker Ross order I think)- there's about 5 that are about an inch across and loads more small ones- I'll happily send them to you if they'd be any use. I've got some gold stuff too that's midway between a chain and trimming- just say the word

Do you have a Natural World shop near you? They have loads of crystals and semi-precious stones (smooth and rough) priced from £1.50. My DD (7) loves them.
