no, not those ones. I've seen them advertised recently on tv. They show a boy and girl playing with a spaniel puppy and a fluffy kitten and they turn into these digital equivalents on what looks like mini ipods. They look very streamlined with just one central button.

I got one for 99p from Stationary box, has loads of pets to choose from and different things to do with them. DD never feeds it so they die after a day or so.

My ds1 9 bought one recently at his Dads. He says its rubbish! Not that that means anything.

My DD is 7 and easily impressed with cheap tacky gadgets .

I thought you could have two and they would 'interact' (this is for a brother and sister) but they don't. SEem a bit expensive for what they are. Will look for something else.
