Paperchase, accessorise, or Cath kidston.

ThatBloodyWoman · 27/07/2015 20:18

I'd take the easy option and sit with them and look on ebay.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 27/07/2015 20:20

Smiggle if I had money to burn

For £94 I'd want a school bag to carry me to school and do my homework for me!

Artandco · 28/07/2015 08:08

Jack wolfskin. Their rucksacks are great and a smallish one reasonable price. Will last years ( I've had mine 20+ years, looks new). Also good for their spines as padded more if they carry heavy stuff

Isn't that what a big brother or sister is for?

Emochild · 28/07/2015 08:13

Bloody hell -£94 for a backpack????

How much stuff does an 8 year old need for school?
I'd be looking for a cheap and cheerful one from the market

SoupDragon · 28/07/2015 08:18

TKMaxx.

Perhaps a lot more than your little one does.

But generally the bags would be multifunctional and used outside of school as well, as a carry on when flying for eg, or when they're going to their nana for a sleepover.

Its no big deal really and you know the old saying - buy cheap buy twice. Perhaps even three or 4 times over.

I wont be able to come back to the thread. Im going on holiday in 10 minutes and not ignoring any replies.

Emochild · 28/07/2015 08:37

I could buy a bag 9 times over for that price and it still not be a false economy!

KatoPotato · 28/07/2015 08:39

Paperchase. Good size, nice prints and matching accessories

mrsmeerkat · 28/07/2015 08:40

A little girl I know has a Cath kidson one and it is so cute but I would check out Tk Max for bargains.

Cannot beat asda either

dementedpixie · 28/07/2015 08:44

We have bought from argos and supermarkets in the past

Lurkedforever1 · 28/07/2015 08:44

To add to tkmaxx etc, sports shops have a good few, and Argos and bigger toy shops are usually good for ones in the latest fad.

youarekiddingme · 28/07/2015 08:46

DS got his from sports direct.

Namelesswonder · 28/07/2015 08:47

I just got school bags in Shuch, small but unusual selection.

PrimalLass · 28/07/2015 08:52

DD has a backpack from Boden. It has lasted really well.

Pixi2 · 28/07/2015 08:54

We use online shops like truffle shuffle.

Lonecatwithkitten · 28/07/2015 08:59

DD's budget for senior school ( primary was school rucksack) was £25 we got a nice good quality bag from Animal (that she has already packed!)
