Does the mooncup weaken your pelvic floor muscles?

I've been using the mooncup for a few years now and really like it on the whole but am starting to get a little concerned by something a friend told me a few years ago - she said that it caused her to prolapse (she had quite recently also delivered a very big baby so that would have also contributed!) but I wonder if long term use of a moon cup does actually weaken the pelvic floor and I'd be interested to know what everyone else thinks - I really hope it doesn't as don't want to go back to tampons...

I have been using the mooncup for 8 years and have had 3 children. I think that after having children it is important to do your pelvic floor muscles and keep active. The mooncup would not cause issues, i don't think, but not doing exercise could. Also age is a factor.
