I want one of those teeny cars. 5 doors , low tax etc etc. Also my dd can drive in a couple of years so something to learn in.

Any opinions would be helpful

I am leaning toward the VW Up at present but I don't know why ......

I think we've decided to go for a skoda citigo. We only have one child, and it's a second car so it's perfectly sized. I test drove one up a big hill and it handled brilliantly. I thought the boot space was great, about the same as a Nissan Juke I drove recently.

I love love my C1. Cheap to tax, cheap to run and insure. Will take my shopping and I take my DGS happily in set in back O8 model and no problems at all - just flew through the MOT. Seriously considering another when I change - maybe a five door as now have dear GD as well

I drove a C1 for work and hated it. I thought it felt cheap and nasty, it was stupidly slow and struggled to seat four normal sized adults. It also felt very very tiny!

Saying that, my own car (which I spend a lot of time in) is a Skoda Superb estate so I'm not surprised it felt teeny!

As far as I know the c1, Toyota aygo and small Peugeot are basically the same car.

Suzuki splash? ive got the Vauxhall agila, great 5door, can get two big suitcases stood on end in the boot when you lift up the "false" boot, it recently scored 3rd most reliable car. but it is mainly driven by those over 60, not under 30!Blush I got mine for 2k and very low milage. tax is £130 a year.

WanderWomble- I recommend trying something the Skoda Citigo/ Seat Mii/ VW Up. Much nippier and more spacious than a C1. They all come as a 1l engine but there are 60/75 bhp options. Yes, they are never going to be fast, but it's surprisingly nippy and the 75bhp version has been enough to tempt me away from my big estate. A car like that is never going to carry 4 6ft 5" rugby players, but I'd say 4 adults could fit in one, but again, it's a small engine so you will get loss of power.

The power will be the same, the overall (average) speed will just be lower Wink

ForSaleChesterDraws, luckily it was a one time deal and I'm back in my own (very comfy) car! :) I have driven a Citigo and found it much better.

I have a 5 Door 2015 Citroen C1 and it's great. Good sized boot, touch screen which is very easy to use and I can get about 350/400 miles on a full tank of petrol plus there's no tax.

My friends been eyeing up the 5 door convertible version for a while now
