Preemie baby - I need gift ideas pls

Latest member of my extended family arrived today
Family grapevine tells me the baby is about 4lb
I think he is about 6 weeks early

Now normally I would send clothes as I like shopping for them. Are they still okay? Any better ideas?

when dd was born she was 4lb 4oz, everything I had was way too big. A friend found me some small babygrows and vest and they were very welcome!

You can get small stuff in Mothercare and some other places I think, although he may well be wearing hospital clothes if he's in hospital. One thing I've always thought was lovely (the hospital lent me one when I had my 33-weeker) is those 'snuggly' things - like a cross between a muslin and a doll, and you can put it inside your clothes and then leave it with the baby at night so they get used to your smell.
