ok so not a big deal

but I've just ruined my favourite cushions by washing them (idiot marmite snack)

they were about 20" square neutral base and fawns and duck eggy blue colour pallette

have looked John Lewis and Laura Ashley and nothing inspires

I would like a simple but distinct pattern - it will be offset by neutral cushions on a damask blue couch

Thanks for the next site

found some lovely cushions

am now stunned have tried to register but they won't let me unless I accept a catalogue for £3.75 extra and a 'flexible account' aka Next credit card

am flabbergasted

I find that so annoying twig (the Next thing)

it has totally put me off ever buying anything from them online! I can't understand why they don't join the bloody 21st century and just have a normal online site like everyone else!

Twiglett · 30/09/2006 18:09

it Must be illegal to force credit card on someone ??

twig you can ring them up and cancel the catalogue (they send you a letter saying they'll be sending the catalogue first).

Ermm you can pay off the account online and close it or keep it, I don't have a next credit card....

Twiglett · 30/09/2006 18:12

can't be arsed ... will ask friend to get on her next order and give her the cash instead

thanks though

I don't know if you have a Matalan near you but I went in recently and got some really lovely cushions, some for £6. I was looking for neutral/burgundy so not 100% sure on the duck egg front but I think some caught the corner of my eye as I was trying not to look at more than I needed. They really don't look cheap, but haven't tried washing them yet.
