Am tempted to buy one in Boots, would anyone recommend? Seems a good bit cheaper than the dentist but is it worth it?

I asked my dentist whether the tothpastes and kits were worth it/ effective and he told me not to bother and that the only effective method was bleaching.

He wasnt trying to sell me bleaching products either

go to the smile place and they make a mould of your teeth (for the trays you put in your mouth )and so when you apply the whitening gel it sits nearer to the teeth and so is more effective. I think the boots one has a generic gum shield and so the gel does nots sit as tightly to the teeth - this is why the dentist say it is not as good. This one from the smile place is excellent and costs £99 for the same product as can buy from a dentist which would cost £400. I was very pleased with the result but have not tried Boots one so can't really compare.

Incy I would be tempted to try this one, it seems simple enough to follow. Am always thinking there is probably something more pressing to spend my money on than vanity but think I will treat myself - if not now then for Xmas.

i used it and I think i saw a difference, but my DP has quite stained teeth from smoking and just one application made a difference to his teeth so I think they do work.
