Where can I get a new harness-clip for my XTS Twister?

I have a 3 year old XTS Twister, and part of the harness (one of the plastic clips) is broken. I need it fully functioning by the time DB is born in April, but I'm blowed if I'm going to buy a whole new seat unit which costs almost as much as the original buggy, as the straps are integral to the seat. SO, I thought if I could get a new clip-bit and sew it in really, really strongly, then I'd be okay. Clearly one that matches would be best, then I only have to remove and re-sew the broken bit, but even if I have to replace all 5 points I'm willing to give it a go. My sewing is pretty fierce and I can get some really strong thread or fishing line. I'm just not prepared to put £200-worth of buggy in the bin for one broken bit of plastic!! Anyone got any ideas?!

I'm going to bump this in case anyone is bored enough on a Friday morning to spend a minute considering my buggy-trauma!!

doesn't it have d rings sot hat you can jsut clip on reins? If not, I think your idea sounds good, and I would try fishing line.

Thanks Kelly. Sadly the straps are sewn in and part of the seat . Looking for a "money-flying-out-of-pocket" emoticon!

Hi Bramshott, in EXACTLY the same situation - XTS is 3 years old, new babe due in January! Did you have any luck finding a solution? I've been internet searching - can find raincovers etc. but not harness. Let me know if you've had any joy!

Hi Kate. Sadly not, but I have found a number for Babystyle who claim to be the main UK suppliers so I am going to call them. However, major breakthrough in that I've discovered that as Kelly suggested, it does have D rings on the harness, so I'll be able to clip another harness in (I think the ones you buy for highchairs), failing other solutions. Interesting to hear that you're in the same boat - maybe the harness is the weak point! That aside, I do think it's a lovely buggy.

Kate - in case you're still checking back here: I've had a RESULT with this!!! I called the spares dept of Babystyle UK - 01509 817667, and spoke to a very nice guy called John, who has sent me a whole new set of straps with clips completely FREE OF CHARGE!! I'm over the moon (as you can probably tell).
