"I'm the big brother" T shirts

Sorry if you can't bear this sort of thing..... When D2 was born, we bought DS1 a t shirt like this and now number 3 is on the way I thought I could buy both boys one for when their new little brother/sister comes along (cheesey or cute depending on how you look at it )
But, I got the last one in Blooming Marvellous and although they still have them (and babygros with "I'm the little sister/brother " on as well - ) they don't go up big enough for DS1 - he'd need about age 6-7 .

Does anyone know where I could get hold of some in bigger sizes? I've googled but haven't come up with much.
TIA

my friend had to print one up for me.could be cheaper too.just get a couple of t-shirts and go to one of those highstreet places.
then you could have one saying " i'm the biggest brother" and the other saying " i'm the big brother" iyswim?

You can buy printer paper that is an iron-on transfer. So you design your own on the computer, print it, and then iron it on.

mmm - hadn't thought of that - thanks.

(although that would suggest a bit more effort on my part and I was hoping someone would just say "Oh yeah - here's a great website"

I designed my own for ds/dd when dd was born

I drew a boy and girl, standing on top of the world with lots of butterflies..This was done about 4 weeks before dd was born

But what is really really spooky is that dd actually looks incredibly like the girl in the picture, who I just made up out of my head really.

Mothercare had these instore over summer and I saw some just over a week ago in there, they're not on the website though so I don't know if it was just left over stock.

Tommy · 25/09/2006 22:10

don't like Mothercare at the moment....

Have you tried Nappyhead?
I saw some no added sugar ones on ebay too, but couldn't say what size they went up to.

Nemo1977 · 26/09/2006 09:50

we got ds a iron on transfer when dd was born, will probably do the same this time.

DumbledoresGirl · 26/09/2006 09:52

Doesn't Twiglett or Beetroot or another Mumsnetter do t-shirt designs? I know someone did Spider in the Bath t-shirts. Perhaps they could do one for you with words on.

Tommy · 26/09/2006 14:02

yes - it's Twiglett I might have a cyber word with her....

Nemo - where did you get the transfers from?

Nemo1977 · 26/09/2006 14:08

tommy you can buy them on ebay. Just type in Im big brother and should bring them up.

MamaGlamourPuss · 27/09/2006 19:24

Just remembered there is an ebay shop called The Personal Touch (or similar) and if you send them plain T shirts they will embroider whatever you want on them 0 I had one done once and it was great

(slightly more helpful than my last post )

I noticed at the w/d that M&S have the "girls" version..Didn;t look at the boys section but presume they do them as well..??

Tommy · 27/09/2006 20:34

thanks I was in m&S but looking for boots for me and didn't go anywhere near the children's section . They don't seem to have any online but will go back and have a look another day.
Thanks for that link, Enid - it looks promising!
