Gala dinner table favour ideas. Free hand outs too!

Help I have been aske to quote for and provide favours for a charities gala dinner. Will be mostly child minders attending.

I have a few simple ideas but wanted to be a bit more original and not to look like wedding favours, doesn't help that the tables will have a vague tartan theme.

Budget is not set yet but they want a range of ideas to think about.

My best idea was a plain box with fudge or tablet in with tartan ribbon, but could be a toy, sweets or whatever.

I also have to provide freebies to advertise a new helpline, was thinking a clear cellophane bag with a few sweets in but other ideas would be great budget 50p- £1.

Nothing to complex to make up .

PS it is their 21st celebration too.

Edinburgh rock sounds good too, I spoke to them and they like the idea of tablet or fudge in fact they want a little bit of both in a box, need to figure out how to incorperate the 21 bit too.

They are sending down stickers for the freebe bags so I will go for the simple plain cellophane packets I think.

is that the same as blackpool rock .. so you can put the name of the organisation through it

how about a nice beauty treatment .. contact P&G, lever bros etc and see if they want to sample face masks, eye masks etc (should be able to get these free)

Thanks great ideas, but I have it sorted. They were atounded when I said I could do it for less than £1.50, maybe should have charged more. All in a good cause . I am going fot he tablet and fudge idea as they said that was just what they wanted.
