Trouble accessing Dictionary on wimpy kid and how to train your dragon books on kindle

Have just bought and downloaded how to train your dragon and wimpy kid books on ds2 kindle touch however we can't change the size of the font or access the dictionary. The book's font , layout etc looks exactly the same as in paperback form. Any advice on how to do activate these functions will be much appreciated

There was the same thread on Mn a couple of weeks ago. Have you tried Amazon customer services?

Yes spoke to kindle customer services turns out quite a lot of recent popular childrens books has been put onto kindle in the paperback format and you can't can't access the dictionary on them. They say the publishers are currently working on a e-reader format on all these books and when they are available ( they were unsure when). We will get a free update and we will beable to access the dictionary then.

So if you want to be able to access the dictionary for books make sure it's not the paperback format you download.
