In the market to buy a car - for me plus two young kids (aged 2 and 4). it will be a second car - DH has a company car (Grand Scenic) which is the main family car for holidays etc.
FIL (car expert) has suggested a Dacia Sandero. Could buy new as cheap.
I hanker after a VW Polo.
Have read good reviews re Toyota Yaris on here - could probably buy a newish model with low mileage at a reasonable price.
We live in France.
It would be a runaround but I would also be doing some motorway driving (not long distances though).
I'm looking for safety, cheap to run/to insure, maybe a 1.4 size engine - comfortable to drive, petrol model.
Anyone got any tips????
