URGENT: Builder in SW London needed now!

My friend is getting a one storey extension built. She booked it ages ago, and is being totally let down by her builders (who are currently messing her about with her loft conversion).

They have told her that they won't even be able to start until 27th Sept because of planning permission. She rang the council, and that's all lies.

On 27th September she will be 39 weeks pregnant, with a baby with heart problems, and her husband is in the army and due to go to Afghanistan in October.

In other words, this woman needs a builder who is reliable and available.

Any recommendations of who she can call?

Tell her to call Ian Carlson of Buildsmart 07987 851619

They did a lot of work for us and have built extensions for 4 people we know. They are very reasonable and very reliable.

That's a tricky alias to figure out there!

Any luck?

Oh, and thanks for the replies Pamina & CD - got a new recruit in the process!

eh?

sarahkempy · 31/08/2006 20:22

No luck yet - Graham was too busy and I left a message for Ian.

I have now tried about 10 builders without sucess. Just tried the new taps in the bathroom and because they told us to get the wrong pump the taps are so powerful the water goes all over the floor!

I was being a bit cryptic, CD. Sarah was the friend I was talking about, and it turns out she was a lurker, and now she has started posting! How's your fang?

Builders - aaagghhh! Just a thought - talk to Fran cos they're feeling confident about theirs.
