Britax Lord Plus 9-18KG car seat

Has anyone heard of/own this seat? Can't find it mentioned in the which report excerpts already posted, and can't seem to find reference to it anywhere on the web either... It's a seat that is currently supplied via Ford cars, and seems to be the seat to cover the 9-18Kg non-ISOFIX category. Does anyone know how good it might be (or not?) Would hate to buy a seat that ends up as next year's which? "don't buy"!

TIA

look under brand name romer, maybe on an international site.

Thanks for that - I'd already tried unfortunately, and only come up with one report which just stated the generalised results ("satisfactory") with no details as to what might be good or bad. Back to the drawin board I guess...

It is very similar to the Uk isofix model but uses a seat belt to fix it. May be on an older AA report iirc. You need to google Roemer , which is the European Britax brand but that means that reviews tend to be in German or Dutch ! You can see a test in comparison with the Duo and other models sold in UK here where ++ is very good and -- poor, and they seem to rate it like the Maxi Cosi Priori which normally does well. Not sure when this report was done though.

Thanks for that - it does indeed seem to be rated like the Maxi Cosi. I'll get dh to look over the rest of the report when he gets in - I was a bit stuck ove rhte weekend as he was away and the majority of the reports I turned up were in German, but he's back tonight so can translate for me!
