I prefer dual duel Gas ovens not that brilliant.£565 is quite a good [rice the 80 cm ones are often more expensive than the bigger ones

AllieBongo · 24/08/2006 15:41

thanks noddy. it's just the silly gap that's in our new house. we have the old model of this in green, but needs £300 spending on it to repair it....

AllieBongo · 25/08/2006 09:08

I got my Range Cooker from Argos - but it was the cheapest place at the time . I prefer just gas though

AllieBongo · 25/08/2006 09:16

everything i buy from argos always breaks. that's why i decided it was crappy

MamaG · 25/08/2006 09:17

Yeah it is a bit crappy - their sofas are just AWFUL, I had 3 and each one went back. A freezer I bought was a different size than stated in the catalogue and didn't fit thoruhg the pantry door, leaving me with a huge chest freezer in my living room over the Xmas period, which I couldn't use. I covered it in a table cloth

Oven's been fine though (touch wood!)

MamaG · 25/08/2006 09:18

that would be "through"

AllieBongo · 25/08/2006 09:20

mine too. DS has so far bitten, nipped, scratched, punched and pulled DD's hair...the joys of the terrible twos. DD just clenches her teeth and growls at him! He's a beast

Oh I love my gas oven, baking is so much nicer than when I had my fan oven. Although its not bottom of the range

Furball · 25/08/2006 09:31

We've just bought an 80cm range cooker from sainsburys for £725 - I've just looked on their site and it's Now £979 I didn't want a farmhouse style cooker and this was the only one of this size that I could find that didn't look like one. Smeg do a nice one but for some reason it isn't as deep as 'normal' ovens and would have been to shallow either side of the worktops.

AllieBongo · 25/08/2006 10:13

it has gas hob and electric oven
