Rod for yer own back.

Let them deal with the boredom.

Did us no harm.

friends have a bottom-of-the-range Argos one which they are v happy with, but not sure on the battery life as 10min usually sends their ds to sleep and they switch it off.

Good luck trying to get it on a plane though...

We have a Nextbase one, which we bought for our summer holiday this year- before all the trouble kicked off!

Three hours battery life, but you can buy extra batteries if you want. Picture and sound excellent, easy to use, but (with spare battery) somewhat on the heavy side.

I have to say it was a lifeline, as we travelled for 8 hours with the shite Thomas Cook airline, then had a 6 hour drive to get to our destination.

I would heartily recommend that no-one travels with Thomas Cook if they are over 5' tall and have young children with them!
