also price advice reqd, for dungarees and t shirts, shorts sets, jackets, sleepsuits(the nice velour petit bebe ones) and fleece over suits for bed time (unworn virtually.)

That's a pity about the helpers wanting to slink off, 2nd-Hand-Rose -- maybe I'll offer to come at closing to help clear up, esp. if it means I avoid the earlier madhouse, anyway.

no door bouncers? shite.

ours donates to the womene refuge any items you dont want back

zebra · 07/03/2004 17:36

I wanna door bouncer, I wanna door bouncer! If I can get the sort I'm after (Tesco used to do them?), if you've gone one to sell.

We're not really skint any more, but I can't give up on the old ways of trying to make some extra dosh any way I can.

zebra · 07/03/2004 17:36

... Or did you mean Bouncers=People standing at the Doorway to keep the riffraff out and the mob inside under control, which is the way I initially read it!?

zebra · 07/03/2004 18:20

Coddy -- do you want to try to find a picture, and email it me? I am just seeing what they go for on Ebay, too. I will have to try to remember exactly which one I liked; used to be in the Bloomin' Marvelous catalog, too.

There are a load on Ebay that (I think) have been recalled for Safety Reasons. I don't know what I can do about trying to warn buyers and sellers, though.

MrsCodswallop · 07/03/2004 18:26

I am sure the cost of postage woudl preclude any saving you make

MrsCodswallop · 07/03/2004 18:28

LIke this z but no spaffy Tigger on it, Blue I think
boing!

zebra · 07/03/2004 18:32

Neah, sorry, not the sort I want! I want something like this . The Fisher Price one is the one that I think has been Safety Recalled -- it's the heavy spring that comes apart on some of them, falling on babies head or leading (in some cases) to too much bounce & fractured legs.

anyone selling at the North manchester sale on saturday?
waht do you think about Next outfit - aged 7 - denim pinafore and t-shirt, still fashionable, bought last year. is £5 too much.
also got one where the pinafore is pretty patchwork in pastels. don't want ot overprice but don't want to give it away as both were hardly worn.

Blu · 19/04/2004 13:10

I need to sell a Mothercare Playbead Cot - it's in good enough nick, but my DS was the third occupant. They are £130 new - how much would anyone pay at an NCT sale?
(Streatham, 24th Apr)

mummysurfer · 19/04/2004 13:12

think ours said that they don't sell cots. so you would proably be best checking with your loacl nct. where abouts are you?

mummysurfer · 19/04/2004 13:13

durrhh...just seen streatham... have you got the sellers pack as that ought to say if they'll sell it.

Blu · 19/04/2004 13:16

Thanks MS, yep, they do sell cots, not sure about matresses, but I wouldn't sell it anyway because of link between 2nd hand mattresses and SIDS
