What car can fit one stage 2 toddler seat plus two booster seats in the rear?!

We have three kids, age 6, 4 and 1. Baby is in a stage 2 forward facing car seat and the two older ones are in boosters. We currently have a Mazda 5 which I hate hate hate so looking to trade it in for something smaller since we rarely use it as a 7 seater.

Any suggestions for what could fit 5 folk in? Thanks!

A scenic or Picasso. Not much smaller than a 7 seater though!

We have a Citroen xsara Picasso, which fits 3 seats across the back-2 boosters, plus ds's massive rear facing seat, which will shortly be replaced with another massive seat, which also fits!

Most cars fit 3 seats in as long as it has 3, 3 point seatbelts in the back. Before dd4 came along we had a scenic, mg zr and a Subaru impreza. That was with 2 stage 2 car seats and the big clumpy baby seat. All fitted fine.

Ilikeyoursleeves, do you mean a high-backed booster seat, or just the base - ie. a booster cushion? Makes a big difference, you see.

Any good quality large estate car if you actually want a boot. The Renault and Citroen are not that big if you have stuff to carry as well as children. Personally I would go for a Discovery as they do everything including being brilliant in bad weather.
