Nah, you want a Bosch, misdee. Miele may last longer but they cost loads more and technology overtakes them all after about 5 years - the difference between my new Bosch and my old one is incredible.

Hang on a sec, will get which report for you.

JanH · 05/07/2006 22:56

Oh, which are updating their website atm so I can't check.

If they don't insist on supplying you with a particular machine and just offer you the money, how much was your old one? You could get this one for £240.

misdee · 06/07/2006 16:54

they are offering me this one but have been told to look through argos and comet to see if there are any others i like. can anyone recommend?

Does that mean you have a budget of £325 then?

Peregrine · 06/07/2006 17:01

I have this Bosch one and it is fantastic - I know a few others on here have it and they all think it's fantastic too.

JanH · 06/07/2006 17:02

That was me btw

JanH · 06/07/2006 17:04

Damn, it's no longer available - they cross-reference to this one but "cosmetic differences" include not having a remaining-time display

Mercy · 06/07/2006 17:11

misdee, our fridge died a few weeks ago - 4 days before hte extended warranty expired!

Our policy allowed us to have a similarly priced fridge or pay the difference for a more expensive one.

Hope it arrives soon, it took 2 weeks between the fridge conking out and the new one to arrive. Not funny in a heatwave - and I can't imagine being without a washing machine with young children either

misdee · 06/07/2006 17:28

what do you think of this one? its half price.
