Does anyone have a 9 months + car seat in a Nissan Micra?

If so which one? Dh's car is a V registration with useless rear seatbelts! (I don't drive btw)

When we bought DS's first car seat lady from mothercare tried it in the front seat and told us it fitted perfectly. being young and green at the time we took her word for it and, consequently, I've been sitting in the back with Ds in the front for the past 8 months as rear seatbelts are too short.

DS is now 20lb so we went car seat shopping at the weekend. Much better saleswoman tried a variety of seats in the back but says that the webbing (?) on the clip for the belt is too long for any of the seats they stock. I can't stay in the back for 4 more years and we can't afford a new car - any suggestions?

Can't help you as don't have a micra, looking on the carseat fitter on britax's website it doesn't look like any of theirs are suitable...I can find the freeway,1st class and club class extra can be fitted with a caution..but I don't know what type of seats these are. ie Are the from birth to 9 months.

It may be best calling Britaz on 01264 386034 and asking for advice. \link{http://www.britax.co.uk/\britax}

Otherwise try a good independant store..?? Do you have a place that specialises in baby items such as car seats/prams etc..?
Where are you based.?

I don't think so - could they be there without us knowing then? I'm so terrible at car mechanic type stuff and DH is worse! Blush

they are hidden in the seat. look in the manual that came with the car, it will tell you.
