Tomy Aquadraw - is it worth the cash?

OP posts:

depends how much you pay for it!
i got mine for £16 in elc and it's kind of worth the money.if you're only going to use it at home then no, but to take to other peoples houses or hotels etc then yes.
ds1 kept opening the pens and pouring the water onto the mat which marked it and drove me mad.

misdee · 20/04/2006 14:30

u can buy ours off me for a fiver. basic one with 2 pens.

desperatehousewife · 20/04/2006 14:30

I think it's fab - can be used again and again.

cod · 20/04/2006 14:31

i d say
no
piece of paper just as good

wilbur · 20/04/2006 14:32

We love ours - I feel relaxed about letting dd loose on it to her hearts content. She even loves filling up the pens herself. She's a serious scribbler with other pens so I can only let her have felt tips when I am sitting right next to her so the aquadraw is a boon. It does mark a bit after heavy use, but it's still usable.

mazzystar · 20/04/2006 14:35

i'd say yes, esp if your los are still very little.
18 mo Ds tends to eat crayons, get felt tip or biro all over his clothes and out walls, so we get a lot of use out of it.

Flamesparrow · 20/04/2006 14:38

DD loves it.... she is currently very stroppy with me because I put the pens "somewhere safe" and can't find em Blush. A paintbrush isn't good enough apparantly!

NotAnOtter · 20/04/2006 14:40

my ds has barely playe dwith it but the 'big' kids like it

misdee · 20/04/2006 14:41

btw, i am not selling it because we dont like it, its just that dd2 got the thomas one for her birthday.

Flamesparrow · 20/04/2006 14:43

If she says no, can I buy it? It'd make up for the pens, and she isn't keen on sharing when her friend comes round!!

Socci · 20/04/2006 14:43

Yes - definitely worth it, they are brilliant.

Socci · 20/04/2006 14:44

I've had to buy two though because first one got orange juice spilled on Sad

TheBlonde · 20/04/2006 14:46

Misdee - thanks for the offer but I'm going to ask my mil to get one

OP posts:
oliveoil · 20/04/2006 14:47

even though it is now covered in felt tip as well, grrrrr

well worth the money

misdee · 20/04/2006 14:48
