We had a party last night, when I was cleaning up this morning I noticed a dried stain on my dinning room carpet. My DS says someone spilt cider on it.The carpet is a beige, wool, burber, with flecks.
I've tried Vanish but it didn't shift it,so I went and bought some mr muscle multi task(all they had in local shop),thats worked a bit better but it is still noticeable, any ideas????

What about white wine, like you would use on red wine?

I was thinking of treating it like wine. Also wondered about wine vinegar, that works quite well on lots of stains, but would make an awful smell.

try carpet power,I've just used it on a coffee stain on my beige wool rug.

Have you tried just wetting it and blotting with a clean towel? It works quite well with eg coffee stains (better before they dry though).

Fizzy water, maybe?
