I went into boots to get some fish oils for my kids and was given a £5 off no7 makeup because I had spent over £10. I needed a new face powder so went straight to the no7 collection and found one that was £9, so only paid £4 for it. :)

I love those offers sparkly - boots are pretty good with theirs.

(Have posted those trousers off to you today btw. Smile)

lol. I had to patch up the envelope this morning! Has been in the car all week, but think dd's water bottle leaked a bit on it and the envelope suffered a bit. So bought a big parcel tape to patch it up whilst standing in the (unusually fast moving) PO queue! Must have looked a right loon trying to sort it all out and keep up with the queue! Grin

I have been shopping today and forgot the envelopes, will have to get some from the PO tomorrow. Sorry Blush

Don't buy the no.7 mascara. I bought it yesterday and it was dry as a bone. Took it back today to a very indignant sales assistant.

I went crazy in boots when I was in Uk last week. I kept getting vouchers and thought I may as well spend them as I wont be back for a long time I also got a free goody bag worth 33£. Oh how I miss boots.

sparklymieow · 16/03/2006 23:28

I saw that offer too, I think it was a free goodie bag when you spend £15.

Yes, you get a free goody bag when you spend £15, and if you have the voucher you also get £5 off, so you get the goody bag for a tenner. It takes a bit of doing to make sure you only buy enough goods to come to £15 - most are priced so that you spend around £17+, but I'm tight-fisted enough to stand around working it out.
I bought a lipstick for £8.50 and some concealer for £6.50 so got it bang on £15, then used my £5 voucher so got everything for ten quid.
The lipstick in the goody bag is a bit pale but OK for summer, and everything else is fine.
