i am so sweaty and it's only winter...what on earth will happen when summer comes? ...i suppose it could be down to wearing copious amounts of layers and jumpers..anyway, i am currently using mitchum, which i heard was very effective but doesn't work well for me, does anyone have a great reccommendation? thankyou!

i use dove. i have tried others but they never can keep me dry like dove can. different ones work for different people though so i think it may be a case of trial and error Smile

Smurfgirl · 15/03/2006 19:09

Dove.

SorenLorensen · 15/03/2006 19:12

Vaseline Intensive Care - the cream one in a twist up stick. It is fab, I've used it for years and, as someone who has no brand loyalty whatsoever, that's a big recommendation for me!

ja9 · 15/03/2006 19:15

i use superdrugs own make (spray). love it - the low price helps this (less than £1 for a large can)

gingernut · 15/03/2006 19:19

I like the Vaseline Intensive Care cream one too. Dove stick also good but not quite as effective for me.

Furball · 15/03/2006 20:07

Which Mitchum do you use? I found the stick rubbish but seem to get on ok with spray.

RedRidingHood · 15/03/2006 20:08

Have the Sure twist up stick - excellent.

cod · 15/03/2006 20:08

driclor-burns when first using, leave over night then wipe off in morning(or sooner if too uncomfortable) then do same every couple of nights, after bout a week, they'll be no probs! dp swears by it now!

jayjaybaby · 15/03/2006 20:11

hi i use sure or sanex roll on and they are great even under pressure

sanchpanch · 15/03/2006 21:18

I used to have this problem but seem ok since started using mitchum, cant get on with the spray, i use the roll on and love it, would never use anything else...

Think you can buy an arrid cream which is meant to be good

alliebaba · 15/03/2006 21:20

i second driclor, just don't scratch your pits!

spidermama · 15/03/2006 21:22

I love \link{http://www.pitrok.co.uk/\this} because it's natural, not full of nasty chemicals and it really works.

joash · 15/03/2006 22:14

I'm a 'big' girl and I use Dove cream deodorant - works for me.

Lauraa83 · 15/03/2006 22:57

dove

I use sure roll on when I'm in a mad rush and need it to dry quickly though!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 15/03/2006 22:58

dove here.... tried it once 3 years ago and wouldnt look back. LOVE it.

Aero · 15/03/2006 23:01

Dove cream is my favourite.

MummyPig · 15/03/2006 23:45

I was just like you and I tried loads of different deodorants and antiperspirants to find one that worked. Now my fave deodorant is \link{http://www.trustproducts.co.uk/\Trust}. It's like a paste and you put a bit on your armpits in the evening but you don't have to use it every day, some people can last for ages in between uses. It's not an antiperspirant, actually, it is supposed to kill the bacteria that make your sweat smelly, rather than stopping you sweat. But I'm often a copious perspirer Blush and I don't think I've been sweating so much since I've used it (about the last two years). Plus it lasts for ages - I haven't had to buy a new pot yet.

I bought mine in Boots but I don't know if they still stock it. Apparently you can get it from some healthfood shops, or maybe just direct from the website.

Hattie05 · 16/03/2006 00:09

Spidermama, i use that its fab isn't it!

I have always suffered with over sweating which got worse after having dd. Found that and i never ever sweat.

Its a weird thing because you don't feel like anything is going on when you apply it, but it really works.

misdee · 16/03/2006 00:18

\link{http://im.edirectory.co.uk/products/1639/i/111888l.jpg\i use thisone} its fab.

jampots · 16/03/2006 00:24
