Please help.... I need an easy to use hairdye and my sanity back.

Haven't dyed my hair for decades a while. A friend told me how easy it was (apply, 10 minutes, rinse) - I bought one the same day. My hair is certainly not my best feature (no one mention GREY)

Just read the instructions and *?^$: Mix up a sample and test on your elbow, Mix bottle 1 with 2, chop your hair off Shock and test it on that for 25-45 Shock minutes to get the timing, apply and wait for 25 to 45 Shock minutes, rinse, apply bottle 3, wait, rinse.... Seriously? There is no way I am going to spend my entire evening (and then some, by the time the baby is asleep) doing that.

Can someone point me towards a quick, easy hairdye? I have browny grey hair, and just want to go a nicer shade of brown!

all of them will ask you to do the skin test/shade test thing (but I never have!). I use the foam John Frieda hair colours (but only when they are on offer as they are expensive). Might try the Garnier Nutrisse foam next as I liked their other hair colourants in the past

Garnier Nutrisse are easy to use, yours sounds like a right faff.
