Tippitoes door bouncer - how do you get your DC in & out?

I was very kindly given a Tippitoes door bouncer by a lovely Freecycler. I have set it all up, but haven't yet fathomed the best (correct!) way to insert DD into the bouncer. My latest technique is holding her under her arms, dangling her legs down and lowering her slowly in. This part takes about 5 attempts to get both legs and arms lined up in the right sections. Then clutching babe and bouncer together, if I haven't caught her baby beer belly with the front lapel thingy at this point things are going well, and I manage to do the clasp up. Holding the weight off, I adjust the seating position, then - ta daa! she merrily bounces away. But I think there could be an easier way? Hmm

I attach the springy thing to the door frame, with the straps dangling down. I put the harness on the floor/bed, and pop DS2 into it lying down. I then attach the top bar thing to the harness. Finally, I lift DS2 up in the harness, first gradually, then holding the bar once he's upright, and attach the bar to the straps. Hope that makes sense. I find it WAY easier than getting him into the harness whilst it's hanging.

Thankyou all!! (Sorry for late response, I didn't get a chance to check back sooner). I will attempt the harness-on-the-bed method next go! This sounds rather safer to say the least. Thanks again :-)
