Any recs for free kids pic books on kindle (or other free books)

I got a kindle for my bday. Hooray - mostly I think I will use it to entertain toddler dd on train journeys. Anyone know of any good free picture boks or books for young readers that I can download?

And any good books for grown ups that are free...

Loads of books are free. If you go in to kindle discussions on the amazon website, there is a list of books that are free that day. Some are rubbish, but can be some good ones.

Each day there is a daily deal - a book for 99p. You can arrange for an email with details of each daily deal to be sent to you. I love my kindle!
