Kindle - are the prices in the store on the kindle always in $?

Have started experimenting with my new kindle touch - Yay!!!- but all the prices seem to be in dollars. Do I have to change something?

I'm in the UK and have registered my kindle using my Amazon account details.

Go on amazon.co.uk and sign in. Go to manage your Kindle and click on country setting which is in the list on the left hand side. It should say United Kingdom. If it doesn't then change it to United Kingdom.

Thanks, both of you. Trying to buy a book had the desired effect, it made me switch my registration. Heaven knows how I was registered to the.com site!
