8 seater car (is it still a car with 8 seats!!!) - any recommendations please

We were looking for a 7 seater - but have just found out we are expecting another so need to get an 8 seater! Will have to be second hand - I guess under 10 years - tho clueless about cars really.

Any advice/tips - even if it's ones to stay clear of - gratefully received! :)

Friends highly rate Ford Torneo.

I know two families who have had VW caravelles for years. Both families have had the same for at least 6 years - they seem very reliable. One family has taken theirs all the way to the south of Italy on a driving holiday.

Fiat Ulysses do 8 seater versions. We had one a few years ago. Absolutely fab 'car'. Drive it till it died at just under 200k on the clock!!!!!!!!!

i would vote for a VW caravelle as well its what we would have if we could afford it, we have a citreon c8 but dont theink they do an 8 seat version? we have 7 seats and thats us all full up!
