Mini Owners / Peugeot 207 owners- tell me about yours

I have recently got a new job that comes with company car allowance. For the first time we will need two cars. DH has a nice Merc that we would use for pram, shopping etc so don't want a big car.
I'm thinking abowner Mini Cooper D or a Peugeot 207 allure (automatic) as these are the only things I really fancy in my price range on the car list.
I would be driving to and from work on the motorway , about 20 to 30 mins daily.
What would you choose?

Mini! I used to have one, loved it, great fun to drive, I also mainly used it to get to work, about 30 mins away. I had to petrol engine which was not very efficient, don't know about the diesel.

If you don't need the space go Mini!

Actually you mentioned a pram, best check if your car seat fits. I have a feeling that the back space is so tight (yes ) that not all car seats fit (had mine before DCs but I seem to remember this was the case).

When I had my Mini I think they sold special Mini car seats to go in it. I don't know if these were the only ones that fitted though, but they were there in the dealership when I when I got the car serviced. It was in careless pre DC/pre Skoda Estate days, so I didn't really pay much attention.
