Are Amazon going to release a 'new' version every 6 months just like bloody Apple do?

My kindle isn't even available anymore

I was wondering that - I was given a Kindle wifi (kindle 4?) for my birthday recently and I love it with a passion; best present I've had for a long time. But I was a bit that my Kindle will now be an 'old' one. Doesn't really matter I know, but that's just childish me

Not bothered about not having a touch screen anyway, or much of a web browser - isn't that what the new ones are for? I'm happy that my Kindle is just a Kindle, and my ipad is for going on the web.

I'm definitely getting the Touch. I have a Kindle 3 (the keyboard one) so really want the much smaller Touch. Have you seen the review videos on YouTube? Can't wait for end of April.

PS, if I had a smaller keyboard-less Kindle 4 then I wouldn't bother.

I'm keeping my kindle 4 for ever

I'm just too attached to ever let it go. It has a name, and a lovely purple leather cover, and another case to protect the cover . DS keeps asking me when I'm going to get it a cover case cover....

i love my kindle 4! I wonder about finger prints on the touch screen?!
I have just ordered a waterproof case on ebay - as i have missed reading in the bath. Yesterday I dug out an unread paperback but it wasn't the book i was in the middle of on my kindle so felt a bit odd (I have never been able to have several books on the go at once).

I have the touch, had it since December.

There are no fingerprints - I absolutely love it. One-handed reading/page turning means I can now READ again!

Oooh, the Touch is what I was waiting for - flicking pegs over is so satisfying.

Although I'm pretty happy with my iPad TBH.
