Been looking online and can't really afford to fork out £500. Thought we'd have the do afterwards at home cos we can't really afford restaurant/hotel and besides, I left it too late to book anything. Our garden's fairly level but also prone to being wet underfoot. Could just ask everyone to bring wellies and a brolly I suppose...not really giving a shite to be honest, since apart from my parent's the rest of the 'party' will be made up of inlaws. But that's another reason I'd rather keep them out of the house :-))

Any ideas? Wondered if guiding/scouts groups had decent ones to rent, but doubt these would come with a floor....

Hummpphh.

How about alocal church hall? They must come cheaper than the marquee and you can keep the IL's out of your house - two burds, one stone = sorted Grin
