Yes very easy - just go for a small stick type then it is light & easy to attach . Any MP3 won;t skip as they have no moving parts unlike a CD player
How much memory you go for depends on how many tracks you want to store. ie your whole music collection or just to hold a few tracks that you can update regularly

dh bought me a Zen Nano Plus for Christmas - he had bought an Apple iPod, but we sent it back as it was a complete PITA to set up.

I like the zen nano - I've run on the treadmill and it's been fine. I think it cost about £70. I download radio podcasts onto mine, so am not sure how many songs it stores.

I bought DH a £19.99 one for xmas it's 256mb so holds around 80 songs which is plenty, it's really easy and quick to download songs, works perfectly and also with it being so cheap we don't worry about something happening to it.

I'm getting 2 more on monday, one for me and one for ds in different colours from amazon.

you can het an iPod shuffle for about £70 and it's tiny. Holds about 120 tracks.
